"Not another technique" is the first statement when the question "Do you know embossing?" is asked It doesn't take much to find out whether embossing is for you.
What you need
- Any ink pad (the lighter the ink pad, the better the colour of the embossing powder will stand out)
- A normal toaster from the kitchen (or even better: a hot air gun, which makes it much easier)
- Embossing powder
Application:
- Simply sprinkle the powder onto the wet stamping ink.
- Pour the excess back into the tin.
- Then heat the card in a toaster (or, if available, with a heat gun) so that the powder melts.
- It will take a moment for the first change to be visible.
When the powder melts and bonds with the paper, the WOW effect occurs and a new technique has crept into your heart.
As soon as the powder has completely melted, remove the card from the heat, otherwise bubbles may form.
If you keep pouring the excess powder back into the embossing tin, the 15ml tin will accompany you through your crafting life for a long time. The requirement for stamped lettering is very low.
Embossed stamped objects remain beautiful for a long time and do not smudge like normal stamping ink.
